The last month of summer has started. It does not feel like it.

Bellow is a list of things I enjoyed recently.

Books/audio books:

  • Creativity. Inc by Edwin Catmull. It's a fascinating story about creating Pixar and making it the most successful animation studio in the world told by its co-founder and long time CEO.
  • The 4-Hour Work Week by Timothy Ferriss. Is it possible to make more money by working less? can you live a fulfilling life working only 4 hours a week? Read the book and you will find out 😄

Films:

  • Bullet train. It's 2022 film. I missed it somehow. Wiki says it's an action comedy. I think dark comedy would be more appropriate as there were a lot of killing. It's funny enough and there were a few interesting plot twists. Brad Pitt was there. I like Brad Pitt.
  • Once Upon a Time in Hollywood This film is even older, it was released in 2019. I missed it as well. Classical Tarantino.

Youtube:

Recently discovered Mark Manson's channel. He has that rear talent the explain complex ideas using simple words and humour. Check this video about contrarian idea, for example. Also I like his books review videos. Like 9 Underrated Books That Will Make You a Smarter Person or 14 Amazing Books Summarized in One Minute (Or Less)

Podcasts:

I am not subscribe to Mr Beast but as want-to-be successful YouTuber I admire him and his work. You may like or dislike his videos but what he achieved in his 25 it's really astonishing. In his interview with A Brutally Honest Conversation with MrBeast you can clearly see why he has 240M subscribers. Mr Beast is passioned... no, obsessed with one think: How to make the best video on YouTube. And he has been doing that consistently for the last 10 year. And he is using all the money he has got to make the best video on YouTube over and over again.

My recent video:

The Best Driving Road in the UK - Black Mountain Pass (Wales) Recently we visited Wales and I had a chance drove one of the iconic roads in the UK - The Black Mountain Pass.
